30 September 2026 · Copy for the new Gifting campaign, which runs on its own budget from Tuesday 7 October so we can see how gift buyers respond without risking the main spend. It goes live in early October, so it is about giving a Pott rather than about Christmas. The Christmas-list angle comes in a later round, from mid-November, when people are actually working through their lists. Each text meets the buyer at a different stage, shown on every card. Edit anything straight on the page, mark each line approved or rejected, then press Send.

Is gift wrap back this year? Gift wrap and the Christmas gift bags are set up in Shopify but not switched on. If they are coming back, we would like to add them to the ready-to-order text.
Is the Starter Pack page the right link? Every gifting ad currently goes to the Starter Pack page (it was what 76% of gift buyers bought). If you would rather send them to a gifting or Christmas page, send us the link.

Anyone buying a Pott for somebody else. Many will be new to Pott, and more of them are men than usual.

Last year the gift copy that did best was simple: "A proper present... made to last far beyond Christmas" (£28,752 at 2.20x). The gift copy that lost told people what was wrong with other presents ("Most gifts end up in a drawer", 1.65x). So every text here is about the person being given it, and what they keep. People see these ads several times, in no set order, so the five texts meet a buyer at different points on the way to ordering. Christmas is mentioned once, lightly, because gift ads did their best last year from mid-October to early November, before anyone was writing a list. Nothing here describes a particular picture, so the copy works on whichever gifting content comes in.

A proper present, and one they'll keep for years.
A Pott Starter Pack is a handmade Pott, a candle refill and a matching MatchPott, all in one lovely box.
When the candle has finished, the Pott stays, and they simply choose whatever scent they fancy next...

Know someone who always has a candle lit?
A Pott might be just the thing for them.
It's a handmade Pott with a candle inside, and when the candle has finished they simply pop in a new candle refill and keep the Pott.
It's rather a lovely thing to give, and even nicer to be given.

P3 · A present that keeps going Testing: funnel stageStage: comparing optionsEditedRevised since your edit
The nice thing about giving a Pott is that it keeps going.
Each Pott is handmade in the UK, so no two are quite the same.
Once the candle has finished, they just pop in a new candle refill, in the same scent or whatever they fancy next.
So it's still there on their shelf, with a new scent, long after the day itself.

"Absolutely love these pots and the candles smell so good! My bestie and I unknowingly bought them for each other last Christmas and now I'm hooked, I've even subscribed to the seasonal box." ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hayley C.
A Pott Starter Pack has everything in one box: a handmade Pott, a candle refill and a MatchPott.
After that, they only ever need the candle refill.
